i didnt know he was on the boot or roof till i heard the crunch of the roof caving in. and my sister was already out of the car, getting him off when i got out he was mostly knocked out, funnyest bit tho was when his mate hit a cop and got pepper sprayed, charged with assault then put in lockup.

Also as much as id love to have a carbon boot, i doubt insurance will let me get that. and i would never get the money for the carbon roof,

Get a full respray done, argue that the varying paint thinkness if they only do half the car will effect resale on it and finish of the paint. For how it effect resale, i do NRMA inspections at my work and we go over the whole car with a paint thickness thingy to look for inperfections.

And tell the repairer that you want to cut that roof off and replace it with a new one. Don't get them to fix that one. Strength issue has been negated (not that it had much to start with)

Also : Having a unique body kit on your car will make it stand out from alot of others, and that means you may be the centre of alot of envy or a bullzeye for dickheadedness (thats a word)!! People will either like it and key or kick it, or they will hate it - and yell and scream 'ricer' or (in your case) jump up and down on it while drunk. You have to be careful where you park it especially at night time where people can vandalize it and run off into the night unseen.

If they replace his roof with a new one, he will be without a car for quite a while. As for carbon roof, no insurance company will let you have one of those. Carbon fiber is light, strong but not against shock. Though in karma stakes, having a carbon fiber roof and the numbnuts bogun does a repeat offence, high chance he will never have babies ever again. CF snaps into shards, as bogun (will call him Jason for now) comes down after CF roof is in shards, one shard pointing upwards and goes right through his business. Ambulance come to takes James away and few weeks/months/hormone treatments later; Jason comes back as Jenny.
