Yet another point of differentiation for someone to be premium!
If premium membership had little or no difference from FREEBIE membership, makes little need for one to go premium.
The club sticker is perhaps the one difference so we're quite keen for its use to be restricted.
p.s. Incidentally I am not for the levy for non-premium members.

If you have participated in 4 group buys in your stay at ClubCJ it would be equivalent to premium membership fee, yet you would have missed out on so many other benefits in the meantime.
See what I mean?
I take your point, Adrian ...... however, what I think both you and ofey are missing is that there are many non-premium members of long-standing ( myself not included, but I intend to be here for the long-run ) who contribute in many ways that make the club what it is. I think a small ClubCJ sticker available to all at nominal cost would cement the feeling of belonging to a great club. The more elaborate or personalised stickers could still be reserved for premium members.
Cheers, Ron.
I think it comes down to personal choice. It doesnt matter if its free or if you have to pay for it. Not everyone wants the same thing. People may just be content with being a normal member. Others may want a full blown relationship out of it. Everyone will have different wants and needs and you will never please everyone.
Ive been a part of communities where there has been a structure of sorts in place. In some its worked pretty well and in others its ripped the community to pieces. Stupid politics come into it (must be better than those people, must outdo these ones, cant associate with some of them they the enemy etc sort of crap) and then you get the ones that play the superiority bullshit game.
People just may not want to be a premium member. Its optional its not compulsory. People can actively participate and contribute to the community without being a premium member. They may not have the full access that a premium member would have but that doesnt mean they have no right to the community at all.
People support communities/clubs in different ways. Just be grateful CCJ is pretty much fight free zone. No one trying to rip each other to pieces.

It's been opened a few times before. At the end of the day this is the way this club works. You can participate in 95% of things for free, or you can pay a bit extra and get the rest. The prices are pretty reasonable now anyways.

Back on stickers, premium members obviously should get them for nothing when they pay for their membership. Maybe have different types of stickers. Maybe even offer something else more than stickers. Cookies even
As for stickers and meanings, I know one sticker I came across where I had some difficulties with it. Wont put it up here as I know I pretty much would get banned for it. Brilliant SFB moment though

If I may - All members are highly valued here and everyone is treated with dignity and respect thats why its a fight free zone regulated by dedicated committee and Admins who keep the peace
To pay or not is the individuals decision and no one will ever be forced into making that decision against their will
Premiums get some perks thats fair Non members still have access to a massive amount of data and offers as well as non conditional support from all of us and pay levies on Group Buys.
This is a great club and doesnt discriminate, lets keep it that way with freedom of choice
Stickers though will only be available to Financial members that is the decision of Club Admin with membership support and approval

I don't think we've at any stage played down the contributions of non-premium members. Everyone here contributes in their own way including the many passengers this club seems to have. So believe me when I say that I'm not under-stating the contributions non-premium members make. They are indeed valued members of our community.
We take on board the point you're making i.e. a sticker cementing the feeling of belonging
and will be sure to discuss it amongst the comm to decide if this will change.
So as I mentioned before, the artwork is in the top right corner of the club's banner, a sign writer can easily print that out for any non-premium and they can get their feeling of belonging cemented. We cannot control that.
At this point, the stickers are our point of differentiation and whilst that is within our control, we try to control it.
Having more elaborate stickers don't help retain a point of differentiation since it would take someone in the fold to know a difference... . So the effect of the sticker is somewhat diluted.
I hope you don't miss out on the point of view we're taking on this as well.

The choice to upgrade to premium is left pretty much to the individual. We try not to force anything. We advocate it but don't twist people's arms around. Note that the only point of differentiation really is the sticker. So no one really needs to fret about being Premium. Everyone is still given a voice.
If one feels strongly enough about their bond to this club and while content being a normal member BUT still want a sticker, the solution, I've suggested above.
