EOI - Gateway Motorway Mini-Meet/Cruise - Brisbane - June?

Good morning fellow QLD members


I am just curious to know whether there would be much interest in doing a mini-meet/cruise for when the new Gateway opens up.

The bridge will be done in a few stages for refurbishments of the existing bridge with 3 lanes remaining open (north bound), and the new bridge will have all lanes open (south bound).

I am not privvy to the actual completion date but there is a community day on the 16th of May. I was thinking more along the lines of late June, do like what we did for the Clem7 - wait for the masses to not find it so interesting anymore. The reason I didn't suggest mid-June, I'll be overseas and I don't want to miss out... LOL. I didn't suggest May, 1/ We have a club cruise organised and 2/ Every man and his dog will be going over it.

wont driving over it incur a toll... for those of us without an E-tag/Toll pass thingo it could be a sad face event lol
