Hi folks. Have just ordered a black VRX. Was going for the Activ but prefer the bigger motor of the VRX. Haven't had a Mitsubishi for a long time, in fact last ones were a Sigma and a Magna. Initially was going to go for the grey, but the wife, after seeing the black convinced me otherwise! Have ordered the MMCS, but there is apparently a fair wait, like August or the dealer may be able to get one from interstate. I know there are aftermarket comms/audio systems out there but I just wanted the integration of the Mitsubishi one. Maybe I will regret it later on!

Welcome to the club Ray.

Good to see another Adelaide member. I hope to see you on cruise one day. Next one is this month on the 29th.

It would be good to see you and talk about CJ's. Warning though I would recommend you do not get the MMCS. I have one and they are very expensive and limited to there use. For the money aftermarket are a lot better and have a lot more functions.

I have MMCS and I am more then happy to show you why not to get it.

You will enjoy your car MMCS or no MMCS :) Just have a good play with it before you 100% decide.

yeah mate I am with Troy on the MMCS. I have one and it's nice to have the integration but really I do not think it worth putting off getting the car for a couple of months when you can get an aftermarket unit.

Just my 2c worth but you are best to have a look a Troy's before you commit.

Thanks everyone. I am afraid it is all too late to change anything, deposit paid, deal is done! I'll just have to live with the MMCS! My niece and her husband in Brissy have MMCS and love it, they reckon I will not regret it. I'll just have to wait and see. But, that is not the reason I have bought this car, I just loved driving it when I went for the test drive.

Welcome aboard ClubCJ, great to see a new Adelaidian, hope to meet you at our next cruise/meet. I have the MMCS and dont have any issues with it, i suppose its all about what you expect from it.

Do you know when you are going to get your new beast. The VRX's look fantastic and go great.

I'm in the Golden Grove area. The dealer said if he could find one in Australia (apparently there is only one) it would be about 4 weeks. If it has to come from overseas will not be here until late August. I'm in no great hurry but it would be nice to hop into something new again!
