Try Mat black, chrome is too try hard. Carbon fiber would look OK! but you would need to have more around the car (mirrors, etc..) or again... too try hard.

Please don't take this as a personal attack at you, just my opinions because you were asking for them

Nah m8.... this is the sort of thread I was hoping for with ideas and options from various drivers with their own styles and the input and re-shopping of pics is great too !!

I'm not convinced of the Chrome yet myself, and I'd probably break it up by putting th plate back in the centre of it
I'm still working on the timeline for what to do with the car as well.... knowing that I am not really going to be able to do wheels or anything with a huge $$ figure for quite a while, so the 'minor' visual adjustments to the front and rear will do for now - and if I go down a path, the accents for the other parts will match... i.e mirrors or fog light surrounds... gun metal wheels is easy - but size means $$

Gunmetal rims and Carbon fibre on a black car would look nice I think Tarquin - i'm not a fan of too much chrome but that's me.
In the end do what you feel looks good mate we are all different and that's what makes the car modding scene so much fun.

As soon as I can source a centre piece I'm doing it. I have found a plastic chromers in Sydney just need to find someone who will sell me a centre piece

Couldn't afford a whole front bar..... Nice idea though... Sports Grill might be the best I can do - but they are way overpriced fro what they are...
*waiting on Shadows to sort out a front bar trim option....

Above that, Ive never liked the chrome, would never do it on MY car, but on the black, it might look fairly decent. I.e. the RA looks crap with that chrome edging around the whole front.

But like Hog's PS it looks good.

If I was gonna fork out for an RA, I'd fork out for the Evo. I know you have an RA speedie, Im just not a fan of the chrome strip edging.
