This is my product

It has LED-Control Box with switch-two lines(+)(-)

So yeah I was wondering if I should attach another cable to (-) cable and connect that cable to door switched ground

So something like this

Control box with switch
|----------------------- (-) ground
|______ door switched ground

Thank you Super Adrian~!

Follow this diagram:

Image

You can see that the (-) from the neons (in your case the controls) to the 2-way switch. then from that switch it goes to a earth point on the car and one on the yellow wire.

That will allow you to turn on without the door being open if you wish.

Hmmm so in my case, i should have two cables from (-) coming out to connect one to permament ground and the other to door switched ground?

because my switch is on the control box

since you don't have a choice with the switch being the control box, you can either choose to have it wired as you do now, or with the doors. not an ideal kit you have.

if you want to hook to the doors, follow that diagram again but ignore the switch part and hook the (-) to the yellow wire.

On the subject of LED's being bright... I gained a new LED as part of my stereo upgrade - it's the power light on the Sub control - and it's quite bright. Blue is probably the next most noticeable in terms of brightness (after white) with Green being slightly less bright again.

Here is a photo.

It's not finished yet as I have to move the bars to a more suitable places.

And I'm going to add a switch so that I can turn them on even when the doors are closed =]
