i threw a pair of the philips +80% in an old magna the other day. OMG, just a tad bit better than the 20+ yrs old bulbs!.
Even with old reflectors, and bad aiming, these were very nice bulbs.
Not super-white, but on high(H4 bulbs fyi) not to bad at all. i prefer a slight off-white colour of the old non-HID-like halogens, and its easy on oncoming traffic.
I really dont like big 4WD'S with hids etc. i hate big 4wd's, period in fact!! lol..back on topic....

easy to find, everywhere, about 60-70$
For every "Drive Safely" sign, shouldn't there be a "Resume Normal Driving" sign?

Hi Guys
Just inquiring if anyone may have fitted 100w globes into the High Beam lights and if so are there any adverse heat issues, don't want a lens or reflector melt down

Regards
Auldy

Hmmm... I don't know anyone but I've been told many times to try to stay to the wattage limit. Might blow a fuse if not?

Why do you need 100w Highbeams? Have you tried thinking about those big 4wd Driving lights instead?

Try not to HID either - good light output but due to the warmup of HIDs might not be a good idea if you want maximum ligth output fast.

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone actually has tried 80w HB4's and 100w HB3's in their cars, and if it hurt the wiring/lens?
Seems alot of people saying it could do damage, but nothings confirmed.
"Hoges" mentioned he ran 85w low beams without trouble.
Reason I want the higher wattage and whiter globes is for maximum light output from the stock headlights, the factory lighting is pretty useless!
I've purchased globes from these guys before, and for the money they worked fine.
