Yeah scrapeage is never good but you never really see it so you learn to live with it. I just put some vrx airdams on my car, I havnt scraped it yet but I know it's inevitable.

Before I had the airdams my car was scraped pretty bad. I'll get some pics when I get home and post them up or you to see haha

Lukeaday, I know what you mean re needing a money tree, car lust is never satisfied, is it? Just gotta learn to live with some envy I think. I'm still thinking cosmetic which isn't so expensive but God help me once I think about tuning it up (goodbye warranty, goodbye salary, goodbye drivers licence)

But seriously, I'm curious about your interest in lowering the suspension. It looks hot but I find already you have to be careful which driveways you turn into and carparks etc - you can scratch the hell out of the underneath keeping it at factory height if you don't pay attention so I wonder how much trouble you could get into with it even lower?

I have extractors, 2 1/4 inch custom twin outlet exhaust, RPW K&N cold air intake. I spoke to my Mitsu dealership and they said that bolt on mods are fine and do not void waranty. 18inch rims are street and waranty legal as well.
I am soon to get a stage 1 tune on Sunday as well. What the dealership doesn't know won't hurt me!!
Apparently they can not detect the tune.

Welcome to the club Sarah.

Definetaly get the reverse camera as you have the MMCS. It is an easy part to add. Ofey fitted one to his car. There are a few of us who have fitted them, but chose to mount them above the number plate rather then where Mitsubishi fit them smack bang in the middle of the boot lid.

There are plenty of cosmetic touches to the lancer to add to its already impressive looks.

You girls make laugh. Pair of shoes for the car

You sound like you would get on with seventieschick and DORA'ANNE
from NSW as they are always talking like that about their cars.

Here's an interesting though though. You could just NOT spend anything on your car and start saving for the next one.

Hello everyone

Tis surprising to hear you can do anything without voiding warranty. Gonna keep it legal and within warranty parameters so no blacking out or laughing gas or devil eyes or anything. Just some touches to give it some character and individuality.

I would love to modify it to look like the concept:

sex toy that is

Those scrapes make me wanna cry. We've got a really narrow and shallow carport that is held up by white painted metal poles, that you must back into to make it easier to get out. I'm so scared I'm gonna come home at 6:30am after a 12hour shift and scrape the whole side of the car with a big white stripe cos I'm half asleep. And i don't want to look underneath after misjudging the steepness of a driveway. I can still hear the sound of it. Errrrr. I'd shred it if I lowered it.

Reverse camera might be a wise investment for the carport. Might stop me running over the cat too who comes out and rolls around in the path of the car whenever I come home. (He knows the engine sound and comes running).

We're in Hawthorn. Volvo XC90 town. Bit of rice around swinburne though

Hi Sarah and Welcome to ClubCJ
Doesnt matter how strong your resolve is, it will break and you'll be modding in no time LOL
Seriously the CJ is a sexy lady but you will still want to personalise her like the rest of us
BTW its more like 6 front bars + I destroyed on the CE! Hahaha
Ofey and the Melbourne crew will make you most welcome on a cruise. :D
