Back...err....again.

Postby Josh_Emerton » Thu Mar 18, 2010 7:57 am

Ok, as most of you may have noticed, I have been absent of late - basically, my internet modem fried itself. So, got a new modem recently, and I'mback..

BUT, in saying that, I'm going to be on less frequently than i used to be. I recently secured fulltime employment with Irelands of Cairns - a car dealership franchising Holden, GM, Isuzu, Chrysler Jeep Dodge, HSV, aaaaand Mitsubishi Ralliart :D, as a Parts Interpreter (in training, lol). So thats 40 hrs of my week taken out, but, I'll be able to buy stuff off group buys now, I'll be able to move out, join a gym, buy a new phone, all that and more, I'm loving it.

Anyway, peace.

Congrats Josh. Thats 40 hours a week less of you getting yourself into any kind of trouble. Sounds like in the last 6 months you have matured a few years above your age. Good luck with it. Might be up there soon......depending where the cyclone hits.

Congrats on the job mate, I spent 5.5 years part time at Repco in between school and uni. The best customers are the ones that come in with a piece they have broken off the car then you have to play the guess the part game as they have no idea what they are doing hence the broken part,

I used to always love the boy races to, after one of the fast and the furious movies were released I had some boy racer rock up wanting a blow off valve for his early 90's NA hatch back  . He then asked me if they were hard to fit to his car .

I am sure in the coming years mate you will have some good stories to tell us about.

My old man has worked at Repco for 44 years and the best quote is this one:

Dad: How can I help?
Customer: I'm after an oil filter
Dad: What's it off? (Meaning what car of course)
Customer: Umm, the motor I think

*facepalm*

Welcome back Josh BTW!
