Lets Zumba - Or not?

Postby Mr Charisma » Wed Mar 17, 2010 2:21 pm

My lovely wife has been hassling me about this Zumba dancing / fitness thing.

Has anyone experienced "Zumba"?

I have to get her a present to thank her for looking after me after my operations.....

My flat mate brought the whole kit and used it for too days before dumping it and returning to her previous exercise method (lifting beers from the table to her mouth  :P ).

lol that sounds like our Wii fit.

It gets used more when we are drunk than an exercise tool.

Did she enjoy those 2 days :P

I do not know about her but I did not, sounded like I had a bloody herd of cattle running through the house (I have really old wooden floorboards).

my aunty has the whole set of the zumba dvds, although she only uses one of em. we watched her do it last xmas, was heaps funny to watch. it looks really hard though!

it would most likely to be a fad thing like the wii. i was so excited to get my wii & used it heaps for like the first month or so & now it only gets dragged out when im drunk or have a house party. so for me the zumba would be the same.

if ur wife really wants to do it, & ur looking for a gift for her maybe take her to one of the classes. in adelaide they have a few classes going around at local community centers, but im not sure if its just an adelaide thingo. that way ur not splashing out all that money for the dvds & then dont use em.

Hmmm sounds like a plan... thanks for the idea!!

Maybe you should leave a big hint for your man about dinner and stuff - has to be big as often us males can be very thick when it comes to hints :P

he did attempt to pick me a flower once but unfortunately it was a weed (pest plant of all! im a gardener/horticultuist/professional tree hugger, so anything not native to me is a weed!) but he did try!

Professional Tree Hugger hey... lol that is awesome.

I remember buying like 5 bunches of flowers and making my own "arrangement". She thought it was good ( I think she lied ha ). Mostly weeds of course!! That is the most effort I have put in with flowers.

My wife hinted for about 3 or 4 years that she wanted to get engaged, I finally got the hint. Gentle nagging.
