I got them on my car and I must agree they were not easy to get on, quite 'fiddely'.

It's easily a 2 person job to get it done right. If you do end up getting them (because they are a really good buy to be honest) Shane, myself or Oz (if Avail of course :)) can lend a hand if you're in the area as we have probably the most experience out of the members in NSW here installing them.

After they are installed, it's best to coat them in a few coats of wax polish to help protect the paint as they rock chip a bit easier than the rest of the front bar.

Michelle Shane's answer says it all " thank you Shane " Ofey actually had the resistors fitted in the lights already for me & as far as my hubby fitting them I said NO WAY my hubby has not much patence"s when it comes down to things like that & I read in the LED LIGHT post that you have to careful when fitting them as some guys had actually snapped a bit of the corner off their lights so I got our mechanic to fit mine He only charge $ 30 to fit , & I haven't had a problem with my lights thanks to ofey fitting the resistors for me , SO GO FOR IT Michelle lol & IMPO It might be a good idea to grab them off ofey as when he runs out of the lights you might have to buy them from oversea's

Good your team won !!! I go for Newcastle Knights !!!

lol about your daughters school fee's

Let's us know if you find any nice wheels " lucky you "
I Should have mine soon I just have to rego 2 cars First !!!

Michelle do you think we will get into trouble talking on this thread ???? Maybe we should make our OWN up "SEVENIESCHICK & DORA'ANNE "S POST HEEE HEEE ( ONLY KIDDING ADMIN )
Oh dear smilies won't work for me

@ Shane. Thanks Shane. 4 hours isn't too bad........ would probably take us 8 though!!! Oh dear about them being pretty had it :(

@ Nick. Yeah, we are definitely getting them. Although hubby doesn't really want them, he likes them but reckons they're gonna be a nightmare to have on the car, coz of the scraping. Thank you so much for the offer! And Shane and Oz too! Will let you know if we need a hand....... I know Shane's up the Coast but where abouts in Syd are you and Oz? And yeah, if available of course! :)

Oh no, not more rock chips...... don't get my hubby started on those, we have lots of them already. So yeah, another reason he's not keen on the air dams now! But thanks for the tip about the wax polish. Will definitely do that.

@ Doreen. After I read your post I had a look through the LED group buy thread............ I did come across those posts about them snapping at the corners  So thanks for that, I'd rather get someone to do them but I think hubby would prefer to do them himself. $30 - that's really good. Lol at not wanting your hubby to do them. That's how I feel about mine putting on the air dams! Do you have smoked or chrome? I find it hard to tell the difference. I think there are only about 6 sets left........ so we really need make up our mind. Again, I like these more than hubby does!

Thanks Doreen! My daughter goes for The Knights too - she was born up at JHH. She was three and a half months premmie. All the Neo-natal units were full in Sydney so they transferred me up to Newcastle. They thought they were going to have to send me to NZ at one stage  Anyway, it's a real long story but they were so awesome up there at JHH..... so yeah, go The Knights!!! So glad they beat the Doggies yesterday!

The wheels....... Yeah, we just went down to have a look and to get an idea on prices. I didn't really like anything. Hubby did though.... There was a set he really liked and that I thought were ok but they were around $2300 with tyres! I think we're gonna stick with the VRX wheels. I love them. And with the VRX wheels we know for sure they're gonna suit the car and they are so much cheaper. Hubby's ok with them, but hey, it's my car!!!! The poor man, what he has to put up with!!!

Yesterday when we were driving into Penrith Plaza we saw a red cj up ahead of us. It had a great sounding exhaust. So we followed him and when he pulled over to park we pulled up beside him and asked him about his exhaust. Hubby ended up getting out to speak with him and to check out the exhaust while I went to park. Couldn't find a spot nearby so decided to go back for Kal and while we waited for him the car next to the cj ended up leaving so we parked next to him. I posted a pic in the competition section where you post a pic of your cj next to another cj. Anyway....... he had a two and a quarter inch cat-back in mild steel - sounded really good! He got it done at Windsor Exhaust at Richmond. They were a really nice family, he was there with his wife and kids, and we told them about ccj.........

That sucks about the regos :( Hopefully it won't be too long before you get your wheels. Don't worry, I think it'll be a while before we get ours........ we're getting the air dams and exhaust done first and we have to wait for a good set of VRXs to come up for sale.

Re the seventieschick & DORA'ANNE thread!! LMAO Doreen! I think that's a great idea!!! Seriously though, I think we are eventually gonna get in trouble for posting on here so much!!!!

Better go....... we're going next door to my parent's place for big family lunch today....

Will PM you later this arvo. :)

If you want wheels, look at Taleb Tyres. They have some very reasonable wheel packages.

Hi Doreen, air dams, yay me!!! Will post some pics when we get them! Not sure if we're gonna put them on ourselves though, I don't trust us!! Might take them to someone and pay to have them put on!

I know what you mean about the wheels, they are such a great looking wheel - very similar to Bill's (billyboy) wheels which as you know I loved at the meet. Anyway, I looked on the Taleb Tyres website but they don't have the one's like Bill's on there in the 18". They have them in the 19" (well I'm pretty sure they're the same ones) but they are totally out of our price range so I'm assuming that would be the case with the 18s as well.

So you think that's what Matt meant about the wheels?

As for the photochopped Katana GTMs I really thought they they would have looked better on the car than that. That's the thing with wheels I guess, you can't really know for sure until you see them on the actual car. That's why I want the VRX wheels, coz I know for sure they look good! And they're not too expensive.

BTW that spell check thingy is awesome! Thanks so much for telling me about it :D

Lol, I told Kal that the exhaust wasn't really a proper birthday present so he says OK, no worries the air dams can be your present then!!!!! Typical!
