They're very bright, they look brighter than they acctually are though.

Being LED they're not bright at a distance per se, but noticable

I think only one or two easterners have them installed but I'm not too sure :P

Just had a brain wave with the K&N CAI....

I haven't tried it or measured anything but he it goes

1. Remove stock air intake
2. Move Battery to where the Air Filter Box is (may have to make a bracket for it)
3. Put CAI where the battery use to be. and hook intake to front left wheel

of course there are other steps to do this. wiring battery up. i don't wanna try this till after 15000km service so if anyone else wants to try.

looking at it today it should fit plus the piping into the K&N wont get damage since there is no U bend.....

Just a thought and would like to see this happen.

If you see any problems with this just comment..

What I really want to do is this
http://www.knfilters.com/images/m/69-6546TWR_Eng1.jpg
NOTE: this is an Evo X (has other pipeing for intercooler n stuff) so I can't do it like this but, if I could get a ralliart snorkel like that, heat shield conetcting right up to the front of the snorkel then, filter on pipe straight to the engine, it would be perfect.
It could be done if you could custom do the pipe work with a few bits from that kit, parts from that kit you would need = short RalliArt snorkel, heat shield and filter.

That looks pretty good Adrian, I'd probably also get some extra piping for air from the wheel arch too, it probably wouldn't do too much extra though

Left a note on a silver lancer with mods like auto-folding mirrors, vortex generator and a mitsu sticker on the front windshield.
Was a P plater too.

Won't say where cos idk if they care or not, but is it anyone here? :D

Hmmm I think I'm the only (active) WA member with a silver lancer WITH a vortex generator.

Not 100% sure about that though, but nice work on spotting them :D

Thought it was your car actually Graham, before i came online and looked at yours.
I just said 'ClubCJ? Dire_VR09' cos i was assuming they are from here but now im thinking they aren't. :P
Hell sus leaving a note on someones car too.
Oh well they'll figure it out.
I have also seen a black aspire with a vortex generator in the same carpark before but that was slightly before i got my lancer, and haven't seen it since.

1500km service coming up!
They're more like an inspection right? Better undo the free SRI mod seeing as thats easy.
Gotta keep the fat cats happy!

Ohh :P I've never seen a VG on a CJ in WA yet, I've seen a few on older model Lancers though

I'm sure if they're a smart cookie they'll google ClubCJ and find us :D

Yeah as far as I'm aware it's a checkup, it's the best time to tell them of any problems/issues you have with the car too and get them fixed :)

I'll probably take my strut bar off for my 30k service next week as you can't get the stock air filter out with it on lol

Ok, sounds boring. They said it'll only take an hour if i get there on time.

No complaints from me, unless they feel like fixing the rattling in ALL my doors.
And the scratches the stereo screen had when i got it :x
But thats more my fault cos its not like i didn't see the car before i bought it.

I'll let it slide :P

I got rattles in my doors fixed under warranty, it was a loose bolt - I'd mention it to them, it should be a 5 min job each door :P

Strut bar would only take 5 mins off and 5 mins on :)

No way, you would round the block in like 30 seconds, and you would be back at the dealership already :P
