as drc0286 stated, who is such a retard! j/k...i know him personally. but yeah, we have many cars with blacked out taillights. there is a club of many scions that have them darker than us, and we have asked them if they ever get stopped and they say no. sorry back to the topic. i'm planning to order those. they look very nice, would make a great addition to any lancer that doesnt have those.

You have to watch out for your own local laws with blacking out lights....
In Australia - Especially Queensland, it is ILLEGAL to black out your front or rear lights....
It would be wise to check your own local laws before proceeding with any ideas you see on these forums.
The small rear eyelid as pictured in some threads would not be an illegal thing to do as you are not blocking the shape and output of the lamps in any way....

the blacking out the stuff you can get goes on black but when lights come on is completely translucent..
anyway how much did these lights cost you? cos i saw them on the back of VRX's in Australia and wanted them straight away on mine, looks much neater.

false! MSRP is USD$399. you can find them for USD$325 at www.oemmitsubishiparts.com
in Australia, if you want to order them, you can tell your parts dealer that you want 09 model Evo MR taillights. They can get you a price. If i'm not mistaken, Lincorp has them for AUD$600 - $700.
