My Butt Dyno may not be as accurate as Tryg's utensil but I didn't really notice too much. Minor response gain, that's about it. Oh and noise :)

After I got home from a 20 minute evening drive I open the bonnet and felt the temperature of the pipe near the engine and it felt cool to the touch. After 10-15 of the car being stationary, bonnet closed, it was noticeably warmer, due to heat soak no doubt. So the pipe seems to stay cool during use, which is good.

I have been toying with the idea of some heat wrap to keep the cool air in the pipe. All in good time, when I get around to relocating the battery and building the CAI of all CAIs :P

No, No it doesn't... Basically a Butt Dyno is the completely unscientific measurement of performance. You drive and see if you think the car is better or worse lol....

Exposed Pod is legal in QLD, as long as it's restrained ;)

And it's restrained as there is a bracket at the neck of the pod, attached to the car

:P
