How to clean headlight protectors?

Hi all.

I got an 09 VRX and it came with the headlight protector thinghys.

Now.... my issue is, every time I wash the car water collects in between the protector and the headlight, and looks like crap once it dries, and it is getting worse the more I wash the car.

Does any of the Lancer masters have a good trick to clean them propperly without having to remove them every time?, or am I just too lazy?....

Same problem here. You gotta pull them off.

At least they pull straight off easily, unlike the bonnet protector .........

ok, that makes me feel better, since my worry was based on how long it took me to remove the bonnet protector. and the amount of curse words and twisted fingers I had.
