Hi there,
I have just gained my prestigious membership in CJ Lancer owners club.
I pick up my Black VRX with factory fit leather and MMCS this arvo.
I have been a bit of a lurker on this forum while going through the sales process and have found the info really helpful. The ultimate guide that was posted in PDF was very informative! Thanks to the member(s) who took the time to compile it, so that new members like me could use it.
Look forward to reading and learning more on the forum and hopefully contributing as well.
Cheers,
PAUL

Hi Paul, welcome to the club. Careful on the chrome trim, some people find that when they do one small mod the 'bug' bites.
Best of luck with your new car though.

Hey Paul, welcome mate. Congrats on choice of car ! the boss will be happy with you keeping that car sooo clean, (you have no choice.. its Black) how often does the company change cars? if you have it for a few years, it wont hurt making some mods to it especially cosmetic ones
Cheers

That would be me =D. With a little help from our chief tech SIR-VRX aswell.
Welcome to the club mate, hope to catch you on one of our meets!!
Thanks for the warm welcome.
I have been a little busy since picking up the car and haven't had time to post, so please accept my apologies. One thing that I haven't been able to remove since picking up the car is the huge goofy grin on my face.
How good is the VRX!? This car is friggin awesome. Am very happy with the buy.
Tadz0z and SIR-VRX that guide should be made mandatory reading before buying a CJ Lancer in my opinion. It was very helpful and you guys should be repped for life.
scraverX - LOL at the bug comment. It had bitten before I had even bought the car, now I just need to avoid temptation. Which might be a bit hard judging by this forum.
My next step is to tint the car. The only issue I am having there is the guy at Tint Professor is recommending I tint the windows at 17% to match the back privacy glass. My concern is the issue of the legal level for tint being 35% and the potential to void insurance.
What have you guys done with your cars?
