Just got back from a 2 week trip to Tassie and took the Lancer over on the boat.
Got to drive it on some of the roads I grew up on and also discovered some new ones down the west coast, in particular the B28 from Queenstown to Tullah. What a road!
Covered 2500kms in the time we were there and "Mitzy" experienced dry smooth ribbons of tarmac, snow, sand, wet roads and gravel... all without once putting a foot out of place. (the ABS and ASC were a great help on the gravel road (C335) from Buckland to Copping.
If ever a state was to hold a week long National meet, then Tasmania would have to be on top of the list!
..... Forgot to add... CJ's seem to be the car hire companies use in Tassie... I have never seen so many on the road as I did when I was down there.
