Chrome bits for VRX Sedan???

Postby petey » Tue Feb 09, 2010 3:44 pm

Hi all,

this is my first post, so hi to everyone. I'm in the process of modifying my new MY10 Vrx sedan and really want to get a hold of the chrome bits they put on the aspire and ralliart in some places. The crome strip around the nose and fog lights????

thanks in advance

I have the same as Adrian....

It is big bucks for the chrome.

Most people get the stripping from Supercheap etc and try and replicate the RA look... costs about $30 or so.

I have 2 sets of Chrome Fog Light Rings remaining... PM me.

Chrome upper grille cheaper off ebay from the states, Can provide a link if you need.

Chrome lower quite expensive, even off ebay.

Same with chrome window strip, they are expensive also.

Chrome boot strip also available, and expensive.

The cheapest and easiest way is to purchase the chrome strip from any automotive shop.

They come in different width and length.

The Aspire grills are not cheap and are a genuine Mitsubishi part. Several members are after second hand but know one selling any.

The fog lamp chrome surrounds came from our sponsor X-factor and I believe SIR-VRX may have some left, but he may have sold them all by now.

You won't need the chrome grills and the chrome strip, so I would just buy the chrome strip and the fog lamps.

To fit these item there are how to's on here to explain how to do them.

The rear chrome strip and door could be done with the chrome strip bought at any automotive shop.

Edit; Damn you 2 beat me

Adrian,
Do you still have the link for the upper chrome grill on ebay?
Or does any of the sponsors have made them yet cheaper?

Sorry kids...

Can't find one anywhere. Even the seller I bought mine off (and 3 others) doesn't have anymore.

I'll check again soon.
