Things are looking good My Chief Operating Officer (aka the Wife) has approved the leave pass for the day. I need a helmet now, right? Anyone know a place near RIngwood?

Bob I think Aldi has cheap helmets at the moment. $50 or so, Aus Approved. Perfect for a couple of runs down the strip!

Can people ride in the passenger seat? Do they have to wear a helmet aswell?

Tadz - on their website, they say that if the driver is under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult, so I'd assume there must be some kind of flexibility with regards to a passenger. Definitely the passenger would need the same safety equipment as the driver - helmet and long pants, long sleaves etc. To be sure, send them an email and ask: raceway@aapt.net.au

The question is: does the driver want an extra 70kgs next to him

And just found the rule

Passengers:
Heathcote Park Raceway allows racers to have 1 passenger during test & tune days, all passengers must wear the approved clothing and safety helmet, all runs with passengers onboard will be solo runs only!

Depending on how many runs we get, we'll see if i can get a few runs in the passenger seat. Get a few videos actually in the car..

If not, there will be heaps of vids from the side line...Is there any restriction on the age you have to be when your down at the sideline?

tadz0rz if you take your car on the track, see if your mum can sit in the passenger seat.

Not really too fussed if she doesnt come, Just means i get more footage of peoples cars =D

this time i think she would. besides she's never denied me the chance to do what i want and ive already payed alot for our room at crown.
