Earlier this year, it became apparent that some members had encountered Minor Length fitting problems.
The issue was mainly the case for those who had Previously fitted the Greedy Spectrum Rear Muffler.
The Greedy Muffler seemed to be a Fraction Long and once Hung Correctly, loaded the OEM Mid-Pipe Slightly Forwards - Towards the Engine.
This "IS NOT an ISSUE" on its own, since Greedy have Engineered & Manufactured to the Strictest of Tolerances. (a good thing)
However, a Minor Length Problem arose when the Super Circuit Header (also a Fraction Long) was Fitted at a Later Date.
The Combination of Both resulted in an approx 12-15mm over-length issue.
This was not an issue for those who also replaced the OEM Mid Piping, but was for those who did not.

Q: Why was the Super Circuit Header a Fraction Long (5-10mm).
A: Apparently the Catalytic Converter used on the Asian Domestic Market is Slightly Different in Size to the Aust'n CAT.
(this difference was never envisaged or addressed at the beginning)

The Remedy: Super Circuit to Re-Engineer the Overall Length of the Header to Suit the Australian Set-Up.

Q: How was this Done.
A: I Purchased a Double Cardboard Box, Packed & Sent my OEM Header to Super Circuit /H-Performance in Malaysia.
(they covered the DHL Freight AU$297 one way)

They Measured/Recorded the Difference and Manufactured a New Australian Spec Welding Jig to suit.
They then sent my OEM Header back to me.
For “Peace of Mind” … I also purchased a New Aust Spec Header so I could Observe & Check/Compare the Slightly Altered Length.
I paid Full Price for the Header …. Since they had already Absorbed the cost of Freight Both Ways.
The entire Exercise took 3 months.

I hope this resolve settles any further fitment issues.

Pretty good that you had a look at the length issue Sam. The revised headers would be great for newer owners who are looking to get the SC headers and the Greddy SE/SP.

With that in mind, the SC Headers have been working great ever since I sorted out the length issue and would recommend it to those looking to do a simple upgrade to the exhaust.

Dumb question, but i assume you can hook this up directly to the stock exhaust without any problems.

I might jump on this now before Xmas ;) lol
