When I bought the car ( March 2009 ) I got it with the RF upgrade and over time I have replaced it with my old stereo from my last car. I have some items up for sale for anyone who wishes to upgrade the factory stereo.

Can the fronts run fine off the normal stereo? How hard are they to wire up? (do you have to pull apart everything or just the door?).


Edit: Is there any difference between the RF and normal stereo besides the RF logo?

Do u have any RF tweeters for sale? desperately need one cuz my left one is crackling like a b**ch

Hi Dire,

The woofers are 2ohm which the normal factory unit may not like ( will probably be ok ).

But yes, it would just be plug it in and play.

RF has the preset EQ settings and allows Sub Control once connected to the factory amp as far as I am aware. Other than that, you're right.. just the logo

Yes I still have both of them still in the car.. disconnected.

Do you know if the tweeter is attached to the plastic mount via glue/ clips or screws?

Hey i think its screwed on? thats wat i saw when i opened up mine and tried lookin for viable replacements..... if u could sell me ures i will be a very very happy camper ure keepin the covers right and just wanna chge the internal speaker of the tweeters yea? also just to be certain we are talkin bout the front tweeters near the wing mirrors yeah?

Yeah it is the RF tweeter from the A pillar...

And you're right, I do intend on keeping the covers.

Yea I do, just the left one is crackling and i just need the internal speaker already have RF covers.....

I will suss out the tweeter for you in the next few days ( sorry I am busy at the moment )

Also I have had 2 offers on the headunit so that should be sold.
