If you know anyone that wants to buy a 2nd hand ES, tell them to have a look at this ad. Only 13,500km, auto and 11 grand. Can't see anything wrong with it from the pictures or description either.
What does this mean for our car's resale value....??

No it's a classifieds listing at that price for the car and its from a private seller. If its a dealer it would say that in the info and list their dealer license number.
Also they aren't NSW plates in the car pictured and there is no dealership in Nunderi.
also you'll notice the seller only just registered and has 0 feedback.
One thing that pops to my mind is that it's a flood damaged insurance write off from Qld (seeing as the town is only just on the NSW side of the border and the plates dont look like NSW ones). But yeah I definitely smell a rat, I would be surprised if it was a genuine sale at that price....

They're not qld plates and the floods didn't come that far down haha
I've emailed the seller to enquire why they are selling

They are ACT plates.
Interesting that the pics are taken at a Mitsubishi dealership.... maybe they were taken on the day the person got it and now there's something wrong with it....!!? It willbe interesting if they write back to you SIR VRX.

I got an email back from the seller. This is the response:
I am not in Au for the moment.I need a left handed car ASAP.The car is in immaculate condition , fully workshop tested , non smoker , no pets , never damaged , mostly garaged . If you are really interested please mail me at kanejack @ live .com
thanks
Really sounds suspect to me...

Something is amiss for sure at that price - about the financial interst notation on a REVS check; It might just mean the car is financed via a secure loan, meaning the finance provider holds like a 'mortgage' over the car until the loan is paid off....?
Or more sinister, it is being reposessed or something. It shouldn't be so cheap!

The description lists it as a manual while the pictures show it as an auto. The photos are probably copied from somewhere
