Good luck with the sale, $1100 is a pretty good price if this is an OEM part

Excellent value if you guys are looking for a MMCS. It's a third of the RRP. Won't get much better than that!! Plus you get the fascia!!

good point Ken.
Can't buy the antennae by itself. Comes as part of the mounting kit. So that fascia, you'll have 2 of them!!

So with the MMCS and fascia being sold, it should be plug & play without any further parts?
Also, is it compatible with the OEM hands-free bluetooth on the ES/Activ?
I'm pretty interested if the above are OK.

The MMCS and fascia is plug and play. The wiring harness is all there.
However I do think it is compatible with the ES.
When I converted cjsig's ES into an Olympic Edition, the MMCS takes over all of the functions of handsfree in his case. The drawback of the MMCS is you have no voice activated dialing.
Let us know how it goes?

That's pretty cool. I would also assume that the steering wheel controls for audio and phone should still work as per usual.
Lack of voice activated dialling is a bit of a drawback, but that said, I don't think the current system of having an in-car phonebook is that useful anyway.
I noticed in other threads that there's a "navigation DVD", so you need to be running this DVD when using the GPS function as the MMCS doesn't have internal storage?

Far out dude.. You know what i never pulled that antenna out when stripping my car dammit!! Epic fail on my behalf
I knew something was missing when making this thread.
Will do for $950 alone without fascia and antenna (obviously)
Wether or not a kenwood gps antenna from another satnav would work, I have no idea. After just breifly searching.. pricewise it would be a better option if they did work.
But yeah, I might even try to contact kenwood or mitsubishi tomorrow and see if i can somehow get hold of one. (As the MMCS is manufactured by kenwood) Maybe someone at my dealership will be kind enough to sell me one as i "BROKE" *cough* my one... somehow.. lol

Yes the steering wheel controls will work if you have them.
Pressing the up arrow now doesn't scan the frequency but instead moves to the next preset channel.
It's good you can accept you no longer have voice activated dialling.
Well the set you get should already have a Nav DVD in it.
The latest is Ver 16 and you can copy these discs. In NSW, I've sent one to SAM-24A. He should be able to make a copy for you. I think MiztaB also has a copy from me.

Bummer. I was hoping for an all-in-one package.
Think I'll pull out then.
$950 is very very nice for a MMCS by the looks of it though, so I'm sure it'll be snapped up quickly.
Thanks for the advice ofey.

The MMCS has 2 DVD slots, one for the navigation DVD and the second for your DVD of choice.. movies, music whatever.

Yes they will. They're all the same plug head. I've seen those on eBay and they look right.. .
Here's a part number for the Antenna alone:
