back on topic for a brief moment- I can no longer buy the RF amp, as i don't have the wiring loom needed for it in the car. I suspect ES's(RX's) dont have this loom, only VR/VRX's/aspires. This is likely as they were offered the RF as an option, with/without MMCS. :( such is life....

CVT FTW!! :) hehee
For every "Drive Safely" sign, shouldn't there be a "Resume Normal Driving" sign?

Ok guys,

The headunit is sold and 1 RF tweeter has been sold.

So I still have the amp, the speakers mentioned and 1 RF tweeter.

Hey Brett,

You will need to have a look under passenger seat near the floor cross member. Some cars like VR, VRX, Aspire, Ralliart etc have the wires in the car already.

You will notice 2 big white harness if the wiring is in the car so it would be plug and play. You could wire it up if the wires aren't there, but the hassle is probably to great.

Additionally you will only need to add a 30A fuse the fuse box :P.

Hi Mr Charisma,

Would it be possible to get the exact model number off the amp, and a photo of the sockets?
I have wiring under my front seat, but I have a funny feeling it might be for seat heating instead of an amp :(

There is no wiring under the seat for the Amp.
If you speak to sivart, he will tell you how he retrofitted the amp into his car. You need to buy a wiring harness. Requires you to take out the carpet under the passenger side seat.

The wiring you see is indeed for seat heating.
