EOI: K&N Apollo CAI Intake System

Postby Tenchi » Thu Jun 18, 2009 8:15 pm

Possibly for sale is a near new (under 100kms of usage.) Just the filter with casing by itself. Has a few scratches but works for what it is anyway.

Metallic Blue in colour and 100% legal in NSW (fully enclosed system)

This is from a mate of mine, not sure why but he says its too aggressive for his wee Astra SRI.

Honestly though this thing sounds awesome, probably better than some muffler kits coz its sounds more natural.

You'd need to buy some extra piping and ring seals, but otherwise its pretty easy to install.

If anyone is looking to upgrade their intake system, let me know. Otherwise I'll fit it up on a camry just for the fun of it lol

I wouldn't sell it - keep it for your own lancer. Two pieces of additional silicone hosing and you can use it with great results on your lancer :) Same kit as we now use in the cold air kits we make for the CJ Lancers.

LOL very very easily - we will be doing a writeup on it but essentially, we cut out of the factory airbox the origonal adapter in around 10 minutes and it worked realy really nicely.

I might be interested, just waiting to hear back on a quote for getting a K&N Typhoon installed. I'll definitely hit you up if the Typhoon works out to be too pricey. Just don't put it on a Camry!!
