For Sale: 18" HRS Design Wheels

Postby tadz0rz » Wed Dec 07, 2011 10:13 pm

ITEM: 18" HRS Design Wheels & Tires with minus 30% tread. 18x7.5 - Front Tires: Rockstone Radial 105 (from memory) 225/40/18 Rear Tires: Yokohama Advan 215/45/18 (Standard VRX tire)

LOCATION: Melbourne

ITEM CONDITION: Used

REASON FOR SELLING: Evo X wheels on the way

PRICE AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS: $500 NEG

SHIPPING AND POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS: REALLY prefer not to post, obviously will be at buyers expense but will only do it as a last resort

EXTRA INFO: These wheels have been on my car since 2009 from memory. They've done a mad job for me however Im going for a new look with my car. These wheels are gutter rashed quite badly. There is rash on every wheel, if absolutely nesacery I can post up pictures of the gutterash however Im thinking that these wheels might be a little better suited to those who need a spare set of track wheels or trashing wheels. Or maybe just a cheap set of wheels which they can chuck on their VRX with their tires.

I cannot be bothered seperating the tires from the rims, if you want it done it can be arranged for an extra cost (labor and disposal of wheels) however the tires on these wheels are not roadworthy in the slightest. The fronts are past the wear indicators and the rear advans have some really bad negative camber wear. So be aware of this.

Ill get you some close up pics a little later on today, the car is absolutely filthy since I havent washed it in a week. Last time i drove it i took it through the country and it has been mutalated by dead bugs. Wheels are quite dirty aswell.

Ill get em up as soon as i can ;)

Edit: btw when I did look at them the other day, it isnt quite as bad as I thought it was, they are just alot of surface rashes. Although on one wheel from memory there is a fair big rash out of it..Shal see soon :)

That sort of stuff is kind of expected, especially on lower profile tyres. I used to have a lot of scrape marks on my old Falcon that had 15" on it... But I did drive that car like shit... Lol

Those are the pics there. I couldnt get any pics of the rear left wheel very well due to the postitioning of the car at the moment and it being blocked in since I aint driving it anymore. The rear left is the one with the heavy rash, however it is only about 3-4cm in length. There might be a bit more surface rash around it though, hard to see.

Edit: I forgot to mention aswell, that on some of the wheels the clear coat layer is starting to come off. Its a bit more noticable since the wheels are dirty however when they are clean it isnt as noticable. Basicly just needs a light sanding back and new clear coat

yeah nothing a bit of sanding, a good wash and a new clear coat wouldn't fix.

how much would it be to get them up to cairns do you know?

transdirect.com.au is probably the best...

I would imagine they are about $120 or so, but check for yourself :)

Perhaps this would entice people a little more. The damage isnt as bad as I made it out to be in the first post haha. Heres what they look like when they are clean, the clear coat as I said is starting to come off aswell, but you cant really notice it untill you get up close. Just needs a light sand and re-clear and you'd be all sweet.

As I said, the price is NEG, make me an offer people
