It will still look quite nice. It won't be to the same effect as other more contrasting colours, but there is still a difference to be had.

Check the garage. There are a few there I can think of. Luke D, Ajjnr86.

Pictures say a 1000 words.

The best thing about vinyl and chrome strip is it is cheap and easy to install. Put them on and see for yourself. Mod costs around $50.

I think every colour in the cj range highly benifits from the front bumper blackout (except the black!!)
Having said that, as I always say, forget what others think. It's your car, you have to drive it and you have to live with it.
If you like it, go for it.

P.S. I am not at all trying to see you a bumper kit, however, I do have some in stock

Even on black it still adds an effect! Some ppl may say it's silly blacking-out black, however i'm not so much blacking-out as I am adding contrast. Putting the vinyl over the nose piece adds a contrast because it is no longer shiny black and therefore doesn't reflect light....which is just like the grill on the rest of the front bumper.

Check out my pics in my garage and judge for yourself. In sunlight you see the difference of the black-out and imo it adds a nice effect. It's in a sense, like having a black RA/evo...black on black.....since most ppl put the black out to add a sportier look more like RA/Evo etc.

Colour-wise, a black-out on grey will stand out more than black on black.

I agree with you there. It does make it better, even on a black. :)

hey dejayhan, i was just wondering if you ended up putting the black out on? i've got the same colour, and i was just wondering how much better (if at all) it looks with it on?

Also does anyone know if they are easy to install, or am i better off trying to find someone to do it for me?

Ryan that looks awesome,

How much did that set you back?

EDIT: Don't worry I completely missed that we got a pro sticker maker in the ranks :)
