I wouldn't think that it would make and dramatic issues in performance or handling... your just adding a little bit of unsprung weight

The weight is negligible, however if you do plastidip - I recommend spraying them in the daylight and do nice thick coats. Otherwise you'll have something like my wheels which are a pretty shitty job (coats thick, but uneven).

Becareful with overspraying a coat, this stuff does run when u put too much on but not as much as paint.
Personally I would not spray my wheels with this because it comes off too easily. I'd only do it to get a feel of how a colour change would suit.

8 months now. Of course, if you can powdercoat you should powdercoat. I only did it because of its reversibility (I just wanted to try the colour). For the first 2 months it was more or less awesome (nice matte black finish I'd been looking for). It doesn't come off as easy as some say.

I'd only use it as a temporary solution. I'm thinking of painting my wheels properly soon or atleast get new ones.

With all that said, I only have one problem with it which is that it loves to collect dirt and dust meaning you'll want to clean it regularly (I just use a pressure cleaner).

I sourced mine from Caswell Plating @ http://www.caswellplating.com.au/store/ ... on-coating and had it couriered up to Queensland.

depends which part of Brisbane you're from. I live on the southside and there's a place called "JD lighting" at browns plains that sells for $30 a can with various colours.
