RA Brakes

Hi guys,
Have just paid for some RDA front brake rotors and have been told that they are for the VRX/Ralliart rotors. Is that correct? VRX and Ralliart share the same rotors? I know they share a lot, but that seems a little strange. Either the RA gets some below par, or the VRX gets the goodies!

This is what they wrote: The rotors we're sending are for the 2007-09 CJ VRX Ralliart and are 294mm vented and slotted discs.

Thanks, I've passed that on.

Both the VRX and RA have 294 mm discs but they have a different offset so they can not be used on the other model.

That's aspir3. That'll give me the final round of ammo I need. I'll pass that on as well.

So just to re-iterate.

Diameter of the brake discs are the same.

However the way they sit relative to your suspension (i.e. how far in or out from the mounting point on your struts are different.

So as pointed out above, they are NOT THE SAME.

See this link to DBA.

It gives you all of the measurements for the RA rotor. DBA do not do a VRX disc, so cannot compare but this should help chasing the RDA rotors :)

Well Sam you have been talking about upgrading your brakes to RA for a year.

When are you going to do it?
