Hi all

I pick up my new lancer next week.
I didn't bother shopping round and didn't do my homework
like I should have.
So I don't know if I got a got a good deal or not?
Would appreciate feedback (not that it matters now )
I paid 23k and got the following

Lancer (platinum edition - heated leather seats etc)
manual
VRX wheels
Fog Lights
Chrome Grill - Just the top part.
Floor mats.

From what I know, the Platinum has a $22,990 driveaway price, so it sounds like you got some freebies. I would have asked for a full tank, though.

Generally dealers will put a full tank in there nowadays.

Not necessarily. My first CJ only had 1/3 tank and with the next one, I had to fight hard as the dealer seemed to be wanting to break his promise of filling it up. I would have cancelled the whole thing if he didn't budge.

Heated leather seats...! Just in time for winter

I got my Platinum for 22k and my mate got his for 21800, both with the standard features. Considering you got the VRX wheels and all the other additional options, I guess you snapped up a pretty good deal for yourself. Enjoy, you'll love your car!

ive got a 2011 sx, i got mitsubishi to put on side skirts, fog lights and the indicator whole stalk assembly off a vr or vrx dont remember which one put in so its all still factory not added on button crap, genuine mitsubishi mats and the aux cord, for 22k

the model you got come out like 2 or so months after i bought my car, but oh well. i love my car.

mitsubishi doesnt give u full tank and less u say something, nor do they give u mats or the cord, i said if i dont get them then i wont buy the car.

I bought my rx for 21990, the dealer threw in pearl paint, fog lamps and car mats. He also filled it up with a full tank without asking. I wish i had heated seats now, so cold here in winter. Sounds like you got great deal though mate:)

Well, some dealers try to get away with as many things as possible, as anything they don't add goes to their pockets. But some also keep customer satisfaction in mind so they try to sweeten the deal. There's already a dealer delivery fee, costing a few thousand dollars, so the buyer needs to do his/her best to claw that back as much as possible.
