And for a second, I thought a win was coming.
Lol That was SHOCKING...
Only car thats EVER pulled that kind of takeoff on me was a 2009 skyline GTR.
Mind you i've seen people try to drag who dont understand the meaning of 'revs'...they change at 3000rpm or seomthing its ridiculous..

Does anyone think a CJ Lancer can have a P:W ratio greater than a Ferrari?

For the amount of money them toys cost, you could buy a cheap car and get it going that fast for cheaper..

+1 those cars are a rip.

Not for speed, for looks alone :)
The sleekness....

I am determined that my third car will be a 2009 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR - 108,000 USD - look it up on google. I'll get that when i'm 25-30 years old lol

The Aston is relatively cheap actually - only 180k or something.

Not racing - just showing off. Its a no-point exercise - love 'speed camera' comment lol wonder if the F'ri got booked.

More the points than the ticket - I'd pay double fine to avoid the points (should be an option, its only a revenue raising exercise)

btw - according to law (at least in QLD if not commonwealth) speed traps HAVE to be in accident blackspots, so if you're ever pulled over by cops with handheld Lidars (speedguns) (same goes for 'camera vans' (in Cairns we have a gunmetal grey Mercedes Veto with a camera in the back that parks everywhere), but not for police cars with dash- or roof-mounted lasers) ask why they are operating the trap where they are. If they say because we figured we'd get someone speeding or something along those lines - its not a legal ticket. It has to be an accident blackspot. on the other hand, even if you win in court, you have to foot legal costs because the police have 'reasonable belief' to file case (give u the ticket in the first place).
