So, for those few ACT members...
There's a car group that seem like a pretty good bunch. They meet up fairly regularly - most Friday nights - to chat and go for a short cruise.
Their forum can be found here. I'm a member there under my same Member name.
***** ALERT - Nominations for your new ClubCJ Committee can be made here *****

A little more info in case people are interested...
Canberra Cruisers meet almost every friday night.
Time: 9:30pm - Late (depends, people leave or stay depending on their mood and commitments.)
Place: NMA (National Museum of Australia) Car park - entrance/exit end near the Wave sculpture.
if it's raining Meet place moves to the Car park in front of Hoyts Woden.
Some time around 10-11pm they cruise to either Bordburger (Kingston Foreshore) or The G Spot (Gungahlin Soccer Club Car park) for munchies.
--
Generally folks stand around and talk cars or 'catch up' with each other.
The members are typically not 'hoons'.
- no wheelspins
- no donuts in car parks
or other 'hoonish' behaviour.
Some members do have performance cars and do enjoy a spirited drive but there are also members that have fairly generic cars and just turn up for a drive and a chat.
If you're interested just turn up.
