Hey Guys,

Had one of these mobile bumper repair people to come and fix a scrape on my rear bumper and he fixed the scrape but over buffed my rear bar and left faded paint like very fine scratches as per the picture. Is this easily fixed or does it need a professional touch?

Tried to get the guy to come back but he kept not showing up and not answering calls.... great service.

try some clay bar, polish or something? But if u said the guy buff the living life out of it... might not have much layer of paint left to work with and might need a spray.

Cant repair paint thats not there.
Sorry to say but its its either repspray or put up with it. Never bother with "chip" repair guys ... there just people who failed at being a spray painter so they settled for something less harder lol

I completely agree with Cam here.

Mobile repair guys generally aren't trained panel beaters/spray painters, they are just short course trained. I have seen good ones and many more bad ones - it does happen to look like it wasn't a very good spray job.

Nevertheless, try a clay bar. Hopefully there is enough clear coat on there to salvage it.
