Is it possible drain the water tank (used for the windscreen jet sprays)? During my car's recent service, the guys added some soapy cleaning solution that I prefer not to have.

Lol. I take it that there's no drain plug then? I'll see if I can siphon it.

You'll have to siphon it out unless you want to take the front bumper off to disconnect the hose that connects to the water pump (for the windscreen washers)

Just siphoned it out. Found a tube from my old fish tank, pretty thick one too. Didn't take long but a lot of water came out! How big is that water tank?

Just siphon it out. To get the rest out remove the hose going to the spray under the bonnet and then press the button to pump it out.

If you did not want it in your washer system make the dealer remove it.

I didn't know they were going to put anything in. I'll make sure to let them know next time.

I prefer just to just have water in my windscreen washer as any detergents will wash off my paint protector.

all siphoning nonsense.
grab your hose and remove all attachments, jam it down to the bottom, turn it on, wait 30 seconds and all the crap water will be out on the ground with good water in the container

I think it holds about 5 litres... Depends how far you fill it.
