2007 lancer VR-X 2.0 Manual

106,000

Completely dealer serviced

Never self serviced

One camber bolt was replaced for an unknown reason (Old owner). I have a squeak in the suspension when going slow over speed humps (assuming its bushings). Occasionally it crunches alittle going into first, pushing harder makes it step into the gate - could be loose clutch cable?

1. July 2008 ES 2.0 CJ Lancer (new)
2. 50,022
3. Dealer service on all logbook intervals
4. Self service oil change every 5,000kms, changed coolant and brake fluid at 45,000kms.
5. Faulty idler pulley replaced at 19,000 kms
Faulty idler pulley (different pulley) replaced at 37,000kms
Has another idler pulley noise started recently, another visit to dealer this week to get confirmation on which pulley and book in for replacement.
Radio lost AM signal about 12 months ago, waited 6 weeks for a replacement unit.
Engine bay popping sound heard inside car was traced to a faulty charcoal cannister at 45,000kms. This was replaced with quote on invoice as " hotline fix CJ17-001". Must be other cars with same problem it seems?
Comments: Car still on original Yokohamas, still plenty of tread left.
My car has the added insulation as altered in cars made from May 2008 onwards, but very disappointed in NVH in this vehicle, considering it is the updated version, earlier CJ's must have been deafening!
I find the air con really flattens performance, for an engine with good torque and horsepower figures, it is very doughy from a standing start.
Would I buy another one, mmmm, jury is out on that....
