The plugs you have standard are better ;)

NGK Laser Iridium are the standard plugs, go look

Laser Iridium > Iridium IX

Part number is FR6EI-11

I just replaced mine the other day. Rated to 100,000 but changed at 54,000 because I had burn marks up the upper insulator. nothing to worry over really, but I just didn't like it and for the price I paid for the plugs it's no big deal.

If budget permits, the HKS Superfire suited to our cars.

Usually I would recommend the NGK Iridium IX but since our car came standard with the NGK Laser Iridium, choose them like I installed (and had standard)

NGK Laser Iridium FR6EI-11

They are good for 100,000kms though. Iridium IX good for 60,000

Well if money isn't an object then better than the HKS are NGK DFE Laser Iridium...

I just went with one rating higher (hotter) because there is a fair amount of fouling on my plugs...

I may not keep these, will check after my run to your house tomorrow Adrian..

I would like to try the DFE Iriidum plugs.. if they ever bother to import them.

What type of fouling tryg? And what was the standard plug you had? Same as mine?

This is what mine looked like (this colouring is perfectly normal)

And here is the burn marks I was talking about before

My plugs looked exactly the same as yours Adrian... I didn't like the look of those burn marks either.

I looked at my brand new ones and I could see why they got the burn marks... There is a white powder around the base of the ceramic insulator... It appears that burns with the heat, sealing the insulator to the metal? Just a guess.

But for $7.69 each I wasn't going to not replace them while i had them out
