CVT whining

Since yesterday, I've been noticing some "whining" while driving around and mine is a 2011 lancer with about 135k kms on the clock. What could be the reason? Also the temps these days were about 35 degrees. If its tranny fluid, then does the 135k km service includes a tranny fluid change?

I know of CVT lancers with over 200,000 kays on the clock and the tranny doesn't whine
How often do you change the tranny fluid?
When was the last time it was done ?

I'm not sure exactly when but if I see the servicing then I would say around 90k kms.

The service manual says to do tranny fluid every 40,000 however I do mine every 20,000

So the bad tranny fluid is the culprit? Cool! I'll mark it in my next servicing at 135k km. Is there a chance that because of hot weather it might happen as well? Oh and the schedule says the next cvt fluid change is all the way at about 200k kms. Thoughts?

CVT oil isn’t too expensive now. Every 50k is sufficient
