ASC Service Required please help!

Yesterday I decided to clean my throttle body as I realized it was fairly dirty. After it was all said and done I tried to start it to see if the weird RPM jumps had stopped. It didn’t want to turn over which worried me. I finally got it to start and found error code p0113 sensor circuit 1 high. I believe that was just because I had unplugged the sensor to move the intake from the throttle body. Things got worse when on my way to work the ASC and ASC OFF lights came on and I got a warning that service was required. I don’t have a clue how this happened. After a little bit of looking online I decided to restart my ECU. It’s still there. This has me pretty worried that something is really wrong and I don’t know what to do. I’m taking it to my mechanic on Sunday to do a few other things but was hoping someone might be able to help me resolve this issue before then. I was told previously that I had a bad tie rod end and a bad rear strut, could this have anything to do with it? As always, any help would be greatly appreciated

It’s probably a fault in the ABS pump circuit board. Get a full scan done and see what it comes up with. There are few topics about this fault. The only way to fix it is either replace with a new unit or find someone who can repair it.
Fault code is C2116 I think

Aren’t the abs and ASC different tho? And about how much would that cost for parts?

ABS pump controls the ASC system. If the ABS pump isn't working then the stability/traction control doesn't work either

Ahh man I hope it’s not that. I’ll have my guy look at it this weekend. Let’s say that is the case, it’s still ok to drive right? I don’t really have any other choice at this point

Yeah mate still ok to drive, just be aware that the ABS and ASC functions have been disabled. But traditional braking functions as normal.

Ok cool. I had an older car that doesn’t have some of the newer technologies so I definitely notice when the brakes automatically kick in when slowing to a red light and could tell that was still happening this morning. I have a buddy at a Kia dealership so he usually does my work for me but I’m wondering if I should take it to a Mitsubishi dealer if their computers are different or something like that

Ok I’ll keep looking. With these issues I’m having, one of these might help me find the answer to these problems?
