So every now again while taking off in 1st I will either not give the car enough acceleration or let the clutch out too fast. It will result in either stalling or the revs drop so low it's like the car is about to stall but then I give it enough so that it recovers and I'll take off as normal
I believe it's similar to lugging?
And what damage will it cause if any when the engine has no revs to it and if so. Wouldn't stalling do the same

The engine idle speed is all controlled by the ECU, but your right foot is what's responsible for anything else.
As everyone else has said, it takes while to get used to a manual. It's a matter of "training" your feet to do the right things at the right times. I've been driving for 20+ years and I still screw things up now and again.
A tiny bit more throttle and a bit less clutch might help with your taking off. (But so long as you aren't kangaroo hopping along the road, you've got it mostly right. )

Me too, my first test drive in the VRX it was like I'd not driven a manual in years. Doesn't help I often drive 3 different vehicles a week. The Lancer a small 3 ton truck and an auto Pathfinder. To top things off the truck's GB has R where first normally is.
The biggest issue I have with the VRX is the traction control, in the old CC coupe there is none and often I'll just light up the inside wheel to get a good start, not much but just enough to hear it break traction.
