Loud rattle at low revs ( in every gear )

Hi Guys/Gals

I have a quick question about a really loud rattle I get at low revs, it happens in all gears. almost sounds like the exhaust is rattling on the body ( I have checked this it doesn't appear to be )
Has anyone else had this problem or something similar ?
Just wanted to get opinions and thoughts before I take it in to be looked at.
The car is a NA 2010 lancer sx ( only mods air filter and RA intake, 2 years ago )

It's a manual
It only seems to happen when the revs are on 2500. You can hear the rattle as you go past 2500 or if the revs sit on 2500 its a consistent rattle.

Can you feel the rattle at all?

Have you had the clutch touched at all recently?

Could be a number of things:
- Flywheel rattling (unlikely)
- Engine mounts
- Exhaust heat shield

Try and get someone to help emulate the noise while you can walk around the car and check under the car to pinpoint it.

As Sam suggested, check the heat shield and have a look under the car in case an exhaust hanger's given way.

Do you get a rattle at 5000rpm? - could be a harmonic...
