*** Issue Fixed for me ***
I also had the ASC OFF Service Required message for the past couple of months. I never noticed any issues with the brakes during this time so assumed it was a sensor issue like others have noted. Nonetheless, I took my car in to the local Mitsu dealership, they took a quick look and noticed that two out the three brake lights weren’t working. They suggested I first replace the bulbs which I did and now the error message is gone. I suggest people who get this message check this first.
