It’s the clutch in the a/c compressor engaging and disengaging. As long as it isn’t doing it continually then it’s fine.

FYI
The air conditioning should be serviced about every two years or so
Everyone thinks when the car goes in for its log oil service the air conditioning gets done as well

WRONG!!

Air conditioning service is totally different and seperate to getting the "car serviced"
The air con gas gets removed , replace the receiver/dryer (look behind the front grille to will see a big round aluminium cylinder about 2 inches or so round and about 12 inches long, that's it) get it fully checked out and cleaned , replace the gas and the receiver dryer . Will cost around $300 or so and should come with a minimum of 6 month warranty.
Once done you sir con will be colder then the day it left the factory production line , and the "click" from the clutch on the compressor will be quieter , and happen less regularly , and your fuel economy will improve , and if you don't do this there is a ton of black sludge that builds up in the compressor and eventually goes boom and costs you a freaking fortune to get repaired.

Your welcome :-)

What engine light?
The yellow CEL light with a picture of the motor with a fan on the front of it?
You will need to read the error code via the OBD2 plug to see what the code is
