Are people really 1000% sure that the castrol transmax dual or BOT 341 is exactly the same as the Diaqueen SSTF-1??? Are you sure that there are no special additives or friction modifiers in the Dia-queen that is not in the Castrol Bot341?

Is a very expensive mistake ($10,000+) and a gamble with your warranty if its not...

Not sure I would be taking this gamble with a 10 grand gear box for saving a few hundred dollars.

A couple of the guys on EvoM have been using the Bot 431 for a few changes so far and haven't had any problems with it in their transmissions.

Its the same animal Mitsubishi Italy use it when doing a sst transmission oil change.
Just a point yesterday when I inquired about the oil filter I also asked about the oil for these transmissions and they said they don`t supply the oil ?? but they can do the service for you, seems like ford have it tired up more than mitsubishi.

It my change the colour!
I did the basic service ( engine oil and oil filter)
and the geniune oil from Mitsu was dark green before i put in to the engine
After my be 100 km i checked the oil level, and the oil change the colour from dark green to brownish colour!
Pls note before to put geniune oil in to the motor i flush the engine with a cheap basic 15-50w oil to make sure the engine is clean ( been my first service since i got the car)
I know is a complete diffrent story, but the SST fluid my have same reaction like the engine oil at high temp by changing the colour!

Yes I think you could be right about the colour change after being in service for a few thousand Kms, looking at the ford oil change it is quite possible it had that green look when it first went in.

Just had mine changed at 45,000kms by Creat'd. It was black, but no visibile metal filings in the filter. Makes such a big difference to the shift - so smooth now and a little quicker.

I was just quoted $1300 for a 45,000Km service and SST fluid & filter by Booths at Gosford, I'm waiting to hear from Kelly's at Cardiff. Is that the cost I should expect in NSW.
