What a crock of y'know. You don't need a manual to tell you to replace the filter after an oil change. It's common sense! Definately one for MMAL HQ. Complain. I wonder how many other unsuspecting custsomers they're shafting. Oh and I'd ask for a full refund of the oil you supplied and cost of service. Don't accept any vouchers or credits that involves redeeming it at that dealership.DavidAnthony wrote:They won’t give me a refund because they said the Ralliart service manual they have says they do not need to change the oil filter and because they didn’t know any better the service was still done properly.
Never going back to that place, what a waste of time and money.
Do it yourself, a monkey can do it. Save some bucks and give yourself the warm and fuzzies.Hecky wrote:I have the same problem...where to take my slightly modded RA for it's first (7500kms) svc in Sydney and not have the need to check whether they did change the oil, and the filter and all the other bits they are supposed to do....
zOMG, that's pretty poor. I avoided buying from Lander for various reasons, one of them was that the vibe just didn't feel right. Hmmm, my gut instinct, I trust it.DavidAnthony wrote:A picture tells a thousand words...
I just changed the oil and this is what came out, as you can see the filter is black and the oil is the same colour.
I think I'll do my own oil changes. One wonders if any dealer, that when you provide them with your own fully synth or other oil, do they swap it and give you their bog standard stuff and use the fully synth stuff on their own car. LOL.
Edit: fix my atrocious typo mistakes....
