Batman Arkham Asylum and City - What you guys think?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering what you guys thought of these games?? Havent played my PS3 for ages and the last game I really got into was GTA IV. So wanting to pick up a new game and thought this series was interesting.

Will go Batman Arkham Asylum first (cheap) then try City.

Apparently Red Dead Repemtion is incredible. I've got a ps3 on layby for after my exams and I want to pick that one up, it's a GOTY edition, so you get both of RDR games.

I'll get batman when it comes down in price.

and also Mass Effect 3 but that won't be out till 2012... also thinking of playing Skyrim but that one I haven't pre-ordered yet, might do so next payday...

Decided to pay for all these games already while I still have disposable income cause once XMas shopping starts I'm not sure I can include those in my budget.. This way I can just tell the misis when she tells me "You're getting another game?" while we're trying to balance our holiday season budget "It's ok, these has been paid for a long time ago".. and there's no turning back

I'm currently playing Uncharted 2 right now again just to hype myself up even more for the Drakes Deception.

Hey Karl,

Is Unchartered 1 worth getting? I want to pick up a second hand copy. I'm getting my ps3 in 3 weeks and have the list of games that I want to get:

- Fifa 11 (Already bought)
- Infamous (Just got for $10 )
- Unchartered
- Red Dead Redemption
- Tekken 6


Should I just get #1 or go straight to #2 - I think I've seen a double pack somewhere.

Definitely worth getting, and you can get it very cheap.

Each of the Uncharted games will blow you away!

Hmmm might need to check out unchartered also. Will need to read up on what its all about.

The first two games, on their own, won multiple game of year honors.

That tells you something about this series.

The 3rd one is getting reviews left and right going off the charts... taking the same path as the first two.

I played the hell out of Asylum and thought it was awesome! I'm not really into super heroes or anything but the dark feel to the game that they did was fantastic, especially how they incorporate all of the villains back stories and they all actually seem dangerous as opposed to their usual comedic selves.

I purchased Arkham City yesterday and I've played a bit of it, it's alot more open world and it looks just as good as the first, if not quite a bit better!

Ok got my Sennheiser headphones and played it last night. The fighting feels like good old fashion button bashing and no real control of the sequences. Hoping this is just till I get the hang of it cause where is the fun otherwise!!! Besides that graphics wow, scenes in the beginning wow!!

I play a few games, not many seem to hold my interest to the end these days..... the only games i have played all the way through recently are:

Space Marine
From dust
and Arkham Asylum, in fact i kept playing after i finished it .....

Was going to get Arkham Asylum but went straight to City. Will probably pic up asylum one day in the future cheap once I finish this one.

Just need to figur eout how to fight the goons properly seems all I am doing in tapping the same button
