Can't believe this. Parked my car in the garage tonight and saw that the right side of my doors had been keyed!!!!!

So pissed right now.

Had a close look at the damage and it looks like they only got down to the primer and not the steel. Just a couple of questions.

1) Anyone know how much this would cost to fix
2) Does anyone recommend a good smash repairer for me to visit?

Live / Work in the Canterbury / Chullora area so somewhere local to this would be very handy.

Any help would be great.

Cheers.
Jay.

Thats real dissapointing very sorry to hear that. Positive thing is it can be fixed although at a price and the inconvenience. Hope things work out for you and keep us posted. Take care :)

That sucks.

Take it to a crash repairers and bake sure they paint the whole door so the paint will match in. Expect to pay $400-500.

There's a lot of smash repairers around Greenacre. Just make a booking for a quote?

Is it only the doors that need to be done?

On my dad's Camry, the front and rear right doors had to be repsrayed, as I had scraped them along a brick fence on my Ls. It was $280 for us when we had the car repaired when it got rear ended. I think normally it was about $600 instead. This was about 3 years ago though.

Sorry to hear about that. Had the same thing happen to me 2 -3 months back. Some one keyed the side of mine, starting nearly at the front left headlight right to the end of the front passenger side door.

Got mine fixed a while back but the colour does not quite match the orginal silver, although having it redone free of charge the Wednesday, so hopefully I won't be able to notice it then. It sucks when some low lifes do this to your car.

It cost me $360 (to have 2 panels resprayed and buffed out), was quoted $180 per panel. Price may vary depending on how deep it is. The only major draw back is losing your car for 2 or 3 days while it is repaired!

Yeah sorry to hear that mate.
I had two doors resprayed for $550. This was a few years back mind you.

Good luck getting it sorted.

PM Mizta B for someone who will do an awesome job. He is based in Greenacre and I will too vouch for his work.

He is definitely not the cheapest, but will do a great job.

Chris did recommend him, but a Nazi deleted his post.

sorry to hear about it. it happened to my housemate's black imprezza and was really obvious. so sad that people would do this and then the fact that there's nothing to guarantee it wont happen again after forking out 500bucks to get it fixed.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, really appreciated :) Hopefully when she's all fixed ill come out to a meet and meet you guys personally. Always good to hang around guys that love their cars not to mention lowering the risk of getting it keyed again hahaha.

Just got all the fomalities out of the way. Spoke to the cops and the insurance company. It's odd that all you guys are saying that the damage is going to cost around the 500-700 mark. Doesnt the whole side of the car need to be redone? Spoke to a panel beater that i have used previously and he said that it would surely cost me more coin to do the doors, plus redoing the side of the car to avoid any colour variations.
