My Wifes Father has a CLK 200 2005 and the glove box has broken on it, he has been quoted $1400 for a replacement, Extreme if you ask me.

I tracked down a part number on a russian site (only one i could find): http://www.auto-parts.spb.ru/cat/cats/m.mycat?Form i figure its the "L" one, part # A1706800498.

Its a bit late now, but i will ring the Merc parts dept tomorrow, but if anyone has some other numbers i could try, or knows someone who has dealings with merc parts, if they could let me know it would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Tate

You can try wreckers/salvage yards. There's one in Williamstown who deals with BMW and Mercedes. I'll try to get you the shop's name and contact #.

the "R" part number is only 1 digit off, change a 4 to a 5, so no biggie.
