If I put a video of me speeding I'd get very in trouble...

perhaps i should explain.
this vid was taken fom the back seat to get a shot of my boost guage at full boost for my avatar

<<<<<<<<<<<<<.

most of it was taken in first or second gear and the speed limit was tweaked but not broken.

there was absolutely no hooning :)

@2.15 you hit 100km/h that my friend is hooning and most certainly speeding

you are right, @2.15 im at 100, and at minus 22psi boost, @2.15.5 i`m at 70, still at minus 20 boost.
therefore i`m at 100 for app 1 second, got the pic and that was it.

it was a straight road with no traffic, i dont consider that to be hooning.

A bit of a touchy topic this

At 2:43 Steve it can be seen you are doing over 100kph and at around 20psi boost in an urban area that would most likely 60kph but I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say the limit MIGHT be 80kph.

You Steve are HOONING in a built up urban environment with a high population density. Yet you had the hide to to call for the banning of anyone who was deemed to be "hooning" up Nebo at night exceeding the limit by maybe 20kph at the most (remember it is a mountain). As far as I am concerned your little video is far more dangerous then me "hooning" up Nebo of a night, for the record I saw only 3 cars that night.

I am sorry Steve but you jumped up and down on your little podium like a rabid monkey when the issue of members hooning came up last time. It was such an appalling display of chest beating that many ClubCJ members including myself peeled their club decals off and you caused the massive rift we now see in the QLD member base.

I myself am not a heartless a-hole so Admins I will call for a 2 week ban of the member Sleeper instead of the instant life ban that was suggest during the chest beating period by the ex QLD admin.

Chubb out.

I doubt the Queensland Police Service would see it that way..... perhaps I should post that video on their Twitter feed for their media relations and ask? yes?
Besides testing your boost guage or whatever endeavour you were engaging in should have waited for the AMC track day which is not too far away...

Chubb, if you are genuine about this, please PM one of the exec team so we can get the ball rolling. In the meantime I'll preserve the evidence in this thread, awaiting the complaint from you. I've also downloaded a copy of the youtube video in flv for evidence.

that was a blind warning chubb, no names were mentioned by me nor were they ever intended to be.

Yes Steve but we were not stupid enough to post a video of us "hooning", you had no solid evidence that anyone was infact hooning.

This is not directed to sleeper but to everyone else who has a problem with what he has reported. You have to read carefully->

It doesn't matter what you think, nor what the cops think.
His reply has specified the rules of engagement in this discussion.

So no matter what you say. It really doesn't matter. Your opinion or that of any other member of public who may have viewed this doesn't matter either.

So why do you people bother?

A side thought->

Your reaction really should have been:

"Wow! Fast and Furious *envy*"

Should you have reacted that way, sleeper would have got what he wanted and no need to lock horns!
