How to change amber park lights?????

Postby nava1990 » Sat Jul 30, 2011 9:55 pm

Hey yall,

I was wondering if anyone knew what i would have to buy to change the amber coloured park lights. I wanted to change them to be white as i was thinking of putting a strip of L.E.D over my fog lights on both sides and tapping into the park-light wire. But the amber colour in the park light and the L.E.Ds would probably not look so good together. So i plan on changing the park lights white.

Help please?? :)

Just go to Jaycar and buy LED white. They just twist in and out of the headlight assemble. You can do it easily especially if you have small hands.

2 new LED's will only cost you about $10.

Hey Nava,

Try these from JayCar..... LED Globes ... ZD 0390 @ $1.95 each.

These globes are the same shape & color as the standard 5W5 globes, but brighter than Philips Crystal Vision & almost as bright as HID.

The best thing about these, is that their shape & color when fitted inside the Head-Lamp Assembly, makes them almost impossible to detect as non standard by the Unsuspecting Policeman.

With regards to the blue light, wouldn't that be indicating the high beams then?
