Looks like another insurance jobby... That will cost more then $800 to fix (excess)

Some bastard decided to run into me when my car was parked and not leave a note.

Ouch...
I got screwed over once in my 6 month old DC5R.. driving through Cabramatta.. heard tyres squealing.. turned to look.. my side mirror slammed closed, drivers door, and rear quarter panel hit... I got out of the car in the middle of traffic to watch the fooker drive away.

Luckily someone got the Rego, reported it to the police, They tracked down the owner a couple of days later with the car in the car port... she claimed the car was loaned to a friend, who claimed it broke down, so they left it in some street in cabramatta, when they came back to get it, it was gone.. instead of reporting it, they found it only a few streets away...

Insurance company refused to waive the excess since I didnt have the driver at fault!...

Ouch. Worst place to get hit. Rear quarter panel. A real pain in the butt to fix. I feel your pain :(

Good luck with fixing it, and hopefully insurance won't stuff up your premiums. :)

Damn! sorry to hear about that! At least now you have a genuine excuse to upgrade to LEDs or black tail lights!

Hope it all goes smoothly!
